Nightledger is a dream journal. Dreams are personal, so we collect only what the app needs to work and we do not use it for advertising.

What we collect
- Account: your email address, or the identifier Apple or Google gives us if you sign in with them.
- Dreams: the text of your dreams and, if you record by voice, the audio, which is turned into text. We do not keep the audio recording.
- What the app creates: interpretations, symbols, recommendations, cover images and monthly recaps for your dreams.
- Settings: display name, aura color, language, reminder time and the figure preference for dream images.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled by Apple; we do not see your card details.
Dreams can be personal or sensitive. We process them only to provide the features you use, and by using the app you agree to this.
Who processes it for us
To run the app we send data to these services. They process it on our behalf to provide the service:
- Supabase: account sign-in, database and image storage.
- Anthropic: reads the text of your dream to write the interpretation, symbols, recommendation and monthly recap.
- Black Forest Labs: receives a short scene description derived from your dream to paint the cover image (premium).
- Groq: converts voice recordings to text.
- Apple and RevenueCat: subscription purchases and status.
- Apple and Google: optional sign-in.
We do not sell your data and we do not show ads. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete a single dream, or delete your account in the app (You, then Delete my account). Deleting your account permanently removes your dreams, images, recaps and your sign-in. Dreams saved as a guest entry are removed automatically after 7 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or Turkey's KVKK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Most of this you can do in the app. For anything else, write to support@nightledgerapp.com.
Children
Nightledger is not meant for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access limited to your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect what you write.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
